In KyaChat Web
- Open KyaChat Web, then Settings > Notifications.
- Turn on Browser notifications and allow them when your browser asks.
If your browser blocked notifications for the site, allow them again in the browser’s site settings.
In the apps
- Open Settings > Notifications.
- Turn Notifications on this device on or off, and choose whether to Show message preview and play a Sound.
With previews off, notifications only say “New message”. If the app on your phone says push notifications are not set up in this version yet, you still get notifications while KyaChat is open.
On a computer
In the Windows, Mac and Linux apps, Settings > This computer lets you keep KyaChat running in the tray when you close the window, so notifications keep coming, and open it when you sign in.
Mute one chat
Open the chat’s menu and choose Mute. Muted chats never notify you and do not count towards the unread badge.
