Who looks after your data
KyaChat is made and run by Red Zircon Technologies Ltd. The Red Zircon Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data across our products, and it applies to KyaChat. This page is a short guide to it and to the privacy controls inside KyaChat. If anything here differs from the policy, the policy applies.
What the policy covers

How your messages are handled
- Every connection between your device and KyaChat uses HTTPS.
- KyaChat does not use end-to-end encryption. Your messages are stored on our servers so that they reach every device you sign in on, can be searched, and can be checked when someone reports them.
- There are no adverts in KyaChat.
Your controls in KyaChat
- Who can find and message you: Settings > Privacy.
- Devices: Settings > Devices lists every phone, computer and browser signed in to your account. Sign out any of them.
- Block and report: block a person, and report a message, person, group or channel from its menu.
- App lock: lock the phone apps with Face ID, your fingerprint or a PIN.
- Notifications: hide message text in notifications on your phone, or mute any chat.
- Delete your account: Settings > Delete account, confirmed with your password or a code we email you.
Cookies
This website, kyachat.org, sets no cookies and loads no analytics, advertising or other third-party scripts.
KyaChat Web uses only the cookies it needs to keep you signed in and to protect your account from forged requests. The KyaChat apps keep your sign-in on your device. The Cookie Policy has the details.
