Terms

The rules for using KyaChat, in short. The full Red Zircon Terms of Use apply.

The agreement

When you use KyaChat you agree to the Red Zircon Terms of Use, which include the acceptable use rules. They are an agreement between you and Red Zircon Technologies Ltd. This page picks out the parts that matter most day to day. It is a summary: the full terms apply and take priority.

Your account

  • Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • An account is for one person. Do not share your sign-in details, or sell, transfer or lend your account.
  • Do not create accounts in bulk or by automated means.
  • You are responsible for what happens under your account, so use a strong password you do not use anywhere else.

Using KyaChat responsibly

The terms do not allow using our services to, among other things:

  • break the law, or help anyone else to do so;
  • send spam or phishing messages;
  • share malware, or content that infringes other people’s rights;
  • share child sexual abuse material, content that promotes terrorism or violent extremism, or content that incites violence or hatred;
  • harass, threaten, stalk, blackmail, defraud or impersonate anyone;
  • try to get into accounts or systems without permission, or disrupt the service.

You can report a message, person, group or channel from its menu in KyaChat.

Your content

You keep all rights to what you send. Red Zircon may host, store, send, back up and process it only as needed to run, secure and support the service.

If the rules are broken

Depending on how serious it is, Red Zircon may warn you, limit features, suspend an account or close it. Where it is reasonable and safe, you will be told why and given a chance to respond.

Leaving KyaChat

You can delete your KyaChat account at any time from Settings > Delete account.

Changes

The terms can change. For significant changes, Red Zircon gives at least 30 days’ notice by email or in the product before they take effect.
