Teams, families, clubs and classes: add people, make admins and share an invite link so everyone can join on their own.
Owners, admins and members
The person who creates a group owns it. The owner can make admins, and admins can add and remove members and delete any message in the group.

Who can add you
In Settings > Privacy choose whether everybody or only your contacts can add you to groups.
Mute busy groups
Mute a group from its menu. It stays in your list without the notifications.
Pin it to the top
Pin up to five chats to the top of your chat list.

Messages that @mention you are collected in one place, so you never miss one.
Formatting
Bold, italic, strikethrough, inline code and code blocks in any message.
Report and leave
Report a group from its details, or leave it whenever you like.

How many people can be in a KyaChat group?
Up to 1,000 members.
How do I create a group?
Choose New message > New group, add people by name or @username, give the group a name and choose Create group. Step by step.
Can new members read older messages?
Yes. People who join a group see its whole history.
Who can delete messages in a group?
Everyone can delete their own messages for everyone. Owners and admins can delete any message in the group.
What happens when the owner leaves?
Ownership passes to an admin. If there is no admin, it passes to the member who has been in the group longest.
