Windows notifications

Starts when you sign in
Choose to open KyaChat when you sign in to Windows. It starts quietly in the tray.
Windows Hello lock
Lock KyaChat with Windows Hello or your PIN, straight away or after a few minutes away.
Drag, drop and paste
Drag photos and files into a chat, or paste a picture with Ctrl+V.
Keyboard first
Ctrl+K searches chats, people and messages. Ctrl+N starts a new message. Esc closes the chat.

Choose Download for Windows above. The file is called
KyaChat-Setup-1.0.0.exe.Run it
Open the file and follow the steps. KyaChat installs for your Windows account only, so you do not need an administrator password.
Sign in
Sign in with your KyaChat email address and password, or create an account. Your chats appear straight away.

Is KyaChat for Windows free?
Yes. KyaChat is free to download and use, and there are no adverts.
Which versions of Windows does it run on?
Windows 10 and Windows 11 on 64-bit (x64) PCs.
Windows says it protected my PC. What should I do?
Windows SmartScreen can show this for new downloads it has not seen often. Check that the SHA-256 of the file matches the one on this page, then choose More info and Run anyway.
How do I update KyaChat?
When a new version is out, KyaChat tells you and offers to update. It downloads the new installer, runs it and restarts itself.
How do I check the download?
In PowerShell run Get-FileHash .\KyaChat-Setup-1.0.0.exe and compare the result with the SHA-256 shown at the top of this page.
How do I uninstall it?
Open Settings > Apps > Installed apps, find KyaChat and choose Uninstall. Your account and chats stay on KyaChat, so you can sign in again later.
