Groups, channels and bots

Organise chats into folders

Folders keep a busy chat list tidy. You can have up to 20, and they are the same on every device.

Make a folder

  1. In the apps open Settings > Chat folders. In KyaChat Web choose New folder in the sidebar.
  2. Enter a Folder name of up to 24 characters.
  3. Under Include all, tick the kinds of chat to include: private chats, groups, channels or bots.
  4. Under And these chats, tick single chats to add, then choose Save.

Use folders and tabs

Folders appear in the sidebar on computers and as labels in your chat list, each with an unread count. The tabs at the top of the list (All, Private, Groups, Channels) show one kind of chat at a time.

Pin chats to the top

Open a chat’s menu and choose Pin. You can pin up to five chats.
