Turn it on
- In the KyaChat app open Settings > App lock.
- Turn on Lock KyaChat and confirm it is you.
- Under Lock after choose Immediately, after 1, 5 or 15 minutes, or after 1 hour.
App lock is in the apps for Android, iPhone and iPad, Windows and Mac. Your device needs a fingerprint, face, Windows Hello or a screen lock set up first.
What it does
- When KyaChat has been in the background for the time you chose, it asks for your face, fingerprint or PIN before showing your chats.
- While it is locked, your chats are hidden in the app switcher.
- Notifications still arrive. To hide their text too, turn off Show message preview in Notifications.
